Abstract

A communication device which implements a voice communicating function, a OS updating function, a recording function, a multiple language operating function, a caller'"'"'s information displaying function, a communication device telephone remote controlling function, a communication device computer remote controlling function, a shortcut icon displaying function, a task tray icon displaying function, an OCR function, a word processing function, a start up software function, and a stereo audio data output function.

Claims

1. A method for a communication device comprising a microphone, a speaker, an input device, a display, a camera, and an antenna, said method comprising:

a function implementing step in which a specific function is implemented;

wherein said communication device implements a voice communicating function, a OS updating function, a recording function, a multiple language operating function, a caller'"'"'s information displaying function, a communication device telephone remote controlling function, a communication device computer remote controlling function, a shortcut icon displaying function, a task tray icon displaying function, an OCR function, a word processing function, a start up software function, and a stereo audio data output function;

voice communication is implemented by utilizing said microphone and said speaker when said voice communicating function is implemented in said step;

an operating system of said communication device is updated via said antenna when said OS updating function is implemented;

a TV program which is identified by utilizing said input device is recorded when said recording function is implemented in said step;

a certain language is selected from a plurality of languages by utilizing said input device, and the interface of said communication device is displayed with said certain language when said multiple language operating function is implemented in said step;

an information regarding caller is displayed upon receiving a phone call when said caller'"'"'s information displaying function is implemented in said step;

said communication device is remotely controlled via telephone when said communication device telephone remote controlling function is implemented in said step;

said communication device is remotely controlled by a computer via network when said communication device computer remote controlling function is implemented in said step;

when a shortcut icon is selected by utilizing said input device, the software program corresponding to said shortcut icon is activated when said shortcut icon displaying function is implemented in said step;

when a specific software program is executed, a task tray icon corresponding to said specific software program is displayed when said task tray icon displaying function is implemented in said step;

an image data is retrieved via said camera and alphanumeric data is extracted from said image data when said OCR function is implemented in said step;

the text displayed is changed to bold and/or italic when said word processing function is implemented in said step;

a certain software program identified by utilizing said input device is executed when the power of said communication device is turned on when said start up software function is implemented in said step; and

audio data is output from said communication device in a stereo fashion when said stereo audio data output function is implemented in said step.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein said plurality of languages include English.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein said information regarding caller includes the name of the caller.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the network through which said communication device is remotely controlled by said computer is the Internet.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein said task tray icon is displayed in a predetermined area of said display.

8. The method of claim 1, said speaker includes a first speaker and a second speaker, and said audio data is output from said first speaker and said second speaker.

2. A communication device comprising:

a microphone;

a speaker;

an input device;

a display;

a camera;

an antenna;

a voice communicating implementer, wherein voice communication is implemented by utilizing said microphone and said speaker;

a OS updating implementer, wherein an operating system of said communication device is updated via said antenna;

a multiple language operating implementer, wherein a certain language is selected from a plurality of languages by utilizing said input device, and the interface of said communication device is displayed with said certain language;

a caller'"'"'s information displaying implementer, wherein an information regarding caller is displayed upon receiving a phone call;

a communication device computer remote controlling implementer, wherein said communication device is remotely controlled by a computer via network;

a shortcut icon displaying implementer, wherein when a shortcut icon is selected by utilizing said input device, the software program corresponding to said shortcut icon is activated;

a task tray icon displaying implementer, wherein when a specific software program is executed, a task tray icon corresponding to said specific software program is displayed;

a OCR implementer, wherein an image data is retrieved via said camera and alphanumeric data is extracted from said image data;

a word processing implementer which changes the text displayed to bold and/or italic;

a start up software implementer, wherein a certain software program identified by utilizing said input device is executed when the power of said communication device is turned on; and

a stereo audio data output implementer which outputs audio data from said communication device in a stereo fashion.

9. The communication device of claim 2, wherein said plurality of languages include English.

10. The communication device of claim 2, wherein said information regarding caller includes the name of the caller.

11. The communication device of claim 2, wherein the network through which said communication device is remotely controlled by said computer is the Internet.

12. The communication device of claim 2, wherein said task tray icon is displayed in a predetermined area of said display.

13. The communication device of claim 2, wherein said speaker includes a first speaker and a second speaker, and said audio data is output from said first speaker and said second speaker.

3. A system which includes:

a communication device comprising a microphone, a speaker, an input device, a display, a camera, and an antenna;

a voice communicating implementer, wherein voice communication is implemented by utilizing said microphone and said speaker;

a OS updating implementer, wherein an operating system of said communication device is updated via said antenna;

a recording implementer, wherein a TV program which is identified by utilizing said input device is recorded;

a multiple language operating implementer, wherein a certain language is selected from a plurality of languages by utilizing said input device, and the interface of said communication device is displayed with said certain language;

a caller'"'"'s information displaying implementer, wherein an information regarding caller is displayed upon receiving a phone call;

a communication device telephone remote controlling implementer, wherein said communication device is remotely controlled via telephone;

a communication device computer remote controlling implementer, wherein said communication device is remotely controlled by a computer via network;

a shortcut icon displaying implementer, wherein when a shortcut icon is selected by utilizing said input device, the software program corresponding to said shortcut icon is activated;

a task tray icon displaying implementer, wherein when a specific software program is executed, a task tray icon corresponding to said specific software program is displayed;

a OCR implementer, wherein an image data is retrieved via said camera and alphanumeric data is extracted from said image data;

a word processing implementer which changes the text displayed to bold and/or italic;

a start up software implementer, wherein a certain software program identified by utilizing said input device is executed when the power of said communication device is turned on; and

a stereo audio data output implementer which outputs audio data from said communication device in a stereo fashion.

14. The system of claim 3, wherein said plurality of languages include English.

15. The system of claim 3, wherein said information regarding caller includes the name of the caller.

16. The system of claim 3, wherein the network through which said communication device is remotely controlled by said computer is the Internet.

17. The system of claim 3, wherein said task tray icon is displayed in a predetermined area of said display.

18. The system of claim 3, wherein said speaker includes a first speaker and a second speaker, and said audio data is output from said first speaker and said second speaker.
