1. A method for remotely controlling wirelessly networked devices via a mobile unit, the method comprising:

  • receiving, at a mobile unit and from a user, an input;

    analyzing the input to identify a networked device associated with the input, determining whether the networked device is presently accessible via a wireless network;

    establishing a connection with the networked device;

    identifying capabilities associated with the networked device;

    displaying, in a list, capabilities previously selected by the user to control the networked device; and

    enabling the user to interact with the networked device through the mobile unit based on selection from among the capabilities in the list;

    wherein the input is ambiguous with respect to which of the networked devices the input pertains, the method further comprising;

    identifying that the input corresponds to different capabilities associated with at least two of the networked devices;

    utilizing the list to identify the at least two networked devices; and

    querying the user to learn which of the at least two networked devices to which the input pertains.
