1. A computer implemented method, comprising:

  • receiving, via a computing device, an indication of a target geographic area of an advertisement for an advertiser, the advertiser having a first telephone number, the advertisement including one of;

    a second telephone number assigned to the advertiser and a reference to the second telephone number assigned to the advertiser, wherein telephonic connections through the second telephone number assigned to the advertiser connect a user to the advertiser only; and

    providing the advertisement for delivery to users of interest in the target geographic area only, the advertiser being billed for the advertisement based on the telephonic connections made to the first telephone number of the advertiser through the second telephone number assigned to the advertiser.
