1. A method of online banking, the method including the steps of:
- printing, by a printer on paper, information relating to a banking transaction and coded data to provide a paper form, the coded data being coincident with the information and indicative of at least one parameter of the banking transaction and positional data;
sensing by an optically imaging pen sensing device the coded data;
generating by the optically imaging pen sensing device data associated with the at least one parameter and movement of the optically imaging pen sensing device relative to the paper form;
receiving by a computer system the data generated by the optically imaging pen sensing device; and
interpreting by the computer system the data and performing the banking transaction based upon the data associated with the at least one parameter and movement of the optically imaging pen sensing device relative to the paper form.

Abstract
Methods and systems are disclosed which relate to online banking via interface surfaces printed with information and coded data. The coded data, encoded visibly or invisibly, may be queried by an appropriate sensing device. The sensing device communicates with a computer system. Together, the interface surfaces, sensing device and computer system are capable of effecting banking transactions over a network.
