1. A disposable infusion device comprising:

  • a reservoir that holds a liquid medicament;

    a pump including a pump chamber that displaces the liquid medicament from the reservoir to the patient;

    at least one valve including a valve chamber that conducts the displaced medicament from the reservoir; and

    a fluid conduit that conducts the medicament from the reservoir, to the pump, and to the patient,the device being formed of a layered structure including a plurality of substantially parallel arrayed material layers sealed together in series with one on top of another to form a plurality of adjoining layers, wherein selected individual layers include a portion of at least one feature within the individual layer such that, when the selected individual layers are sealed to adjoining layers, they form the reservoir, fluid conduit, pump chamber and valve chamber, and wherein the pump chamber and valve chamber are integrally formed entirely within one of the plurality of material layers.
