1. A snare device for use in vasculature, comprising:
- an elongate member having a first end and a second end;
a distal tip portion located on the second end of the elongate member, the distal tip portion including a first coil and a second coil, the second coil being disposed adjacent to the first coil, the first and second coils being made from different materials; and
a body configured to engage or capture material found in the vasculature, the body including a proximally extending tab which is attached to the distal tip portion of the elongate member, wherein at least a portion of the second coil is disposed over at least a portion of the proximally extending tab.
