1. An interspinous implant adapted to be inserted between spinous processes, the implant comprising:

  • a frame including;

    a central body having a first end and a second end;

    a first wing extending from the second end;

    the first wing including a first slot and a second slot;

    a second wing extending from the first end;

    wherein the second wing is approximately thread-shaped;

    a spacer adapted to be associated with the frame such that the spacer is received over at least a portion of the central body;

    the spacer includes a first portion adapted to be received over the central body through the first slot and a second portion adapted to be received over the central body through the second slot.
