1. A device comprising:
- a dosimeter for measuring one or more doses of radiation; and
a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag comprising;
an antenna for communicating with an RFID tag reader, anda non-volatile memory for storing data,wherein the dosimeter comprises one or more optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) sensors, wherein the dosimeter comprises a dosimeter sled, wherein the RFID tag is mounted on the dosimeter sled, wherein a lateral side of the dosimeter sled comprises a positioning notch for each respective OSL sensor for aligning with a mark on a dosimeter reader to thereby indicate that the OSL sensor is in a proper position for being read out by the dosimeter reader, wherein the RFID tag reader is part of the dosimeter reader and wherein one of the positioning notches is also for indicating that the RFID tag is in position for communicating with the RFID tag reader when the positioning notch is aligned with the mark on the dosimeter reader.
