1. A medical apparatus for applying a biocompatible coating in situ, the apparatus comprising:

  • an elongated barrel having a distal end and defining a longitudinal axis;

    a first conduit including a first exit opening at a distal end, the first conduit being configured to deliver a first composition through the first conduit;

    a second conduit including a second exit opening at a distal end, the second conduit being configured to deliver a second composition through the second conduit;

    a third conduit including a third exit opening at a distal end, the third conduit being configured to deliver a third composition through the third conduit; and

    the first, second, and third exit openings being positioned distally of the elongated barrel such that the first, second, and third compositions mix externally of the elongated barrel and the first, second, and third conduits,wherein the distal end of the first conduit has a first beveled tip defining the first exit opening, the first beveled tip being positioned externally of the elongated barrel, the first exit opening defining a first plane having a first axis, which is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the first conduit,wherein the distal end of the second conduit has a second beveled tip defining the second exit opening, the second beveled tip being positioned externally of the elongated barrel, the second exit opening defining a second plane having a second axis, which is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the second conduit, andwherein the distal end of the third conduit has a third beveled tip defining the third exit opening, the third beveled tip being positioned externally of the elongated barrel, the third exit opening defining a third plane having a third axis, which is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the third conduit, the first, second, and third axes intersecting each other at a position distally of the first, second, and third beveled tips;

    wherein the first, second, and third axes define an interior angle at the position distal of the first, second, and third beveled tips that is less than about 140 degrees, the first, second, and third beveled tips being oriented to minimize cross-contamination of the first, second, and third compositions adjacent the first, second, and third exit openings.
