1. An apparatus comprising:

  • at least one first arrangement configured to provide a radiation which includes at least one first electro-magnetic radiation directed to an anatomical sample and at least one second electro-magnetic radiation directed to a reference, wherein a wavelength of the radiation provided by the at least one first arrangement varies over time automatically based on a sweep of the wavelength, and the wavelength is shorter than approximately 1150 nm and larger than just below approximately 1020 nm;

    at least one second arrangement configured to detect an interference between at least one third radiation associated with the at least one first radiation and at least one fourth radiation associated with the at least one second radiation; and

    at least one third arrangement configured to generate at least one image corresponding to at least one portion of the sample using data associated with the interference.
