1. A computer-implemented method for receiving input from a user, the method comprising:

  • displaying a first view in a graphical user interface, the first view including a first input area located adjacent and non-overlapping a second input area;

    receiving, while the first view is displayed, an input from a user generated using at least one of the first and second input areas, wherein further input from the user is required for processing the input;

    displaying a second view in the graphical user interface in response to the input, the second view including the first and second input areas and a temporary communication area, the temporary communication area located adjacent and non-overlapping each of the first and second input areas and being accommodated by the second input area being relocated in its current shape away from the first input area;

    receiving the further input while the second view is displayed, the further input generated using an input control in the temporary communication area; and

    displaying a third view in the graphical user interface in response to the further input, wherein the temporary communication area is not included in the third view and the first input area is again located adjacent and non-overlapping the second input area.
