1. A power optimization system for a medical implant, comprising:

  • a monitor configured to monitor an electrical condition in an implantable component;

    a signal generator configured to generate a feedback signal based on the electrical condition;

    a transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the feedback signal;

    an external tunable tank circuit having a resonance frequency utilized by an external transmission coil during transmission of radio frequency (RF) signals; and

    an external adjustment circuit configured to adjust the resonance frequency of the tunable tank circuit based on the feedback signal.
