1. A method of processing a broadcast signal in a transmitting system, the method comprising:
- performing Reed Solomon (RS) encoding and Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) encoding on IP-based mobile service data and at least one section divided from a signaling information table, the at least one section comprising a section header including an ensemble identifier to identify an ensemble and a section body including access information of the IP-based mobile service data, thereby generating an RS frame belonging to the ensemble;
encoding fast information channel (FIC) data and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data with a first encoding code and encoding the RS frame with a second encoding code, wherein the FIC data includes information for rapid mobile service acquisition, and wherein the TPC data includes FIC version information for indicating an update of the FIC data and RS frame mode information for indicating a single frame mode or a dual frame mode; and
modulating and transmitting a broadcast signal including the encoded TPC and FIC data, and the encoded RS frame.

Abstract
A digital broadcasting system and data processing method are disclosed, which are highly resistant to channel changes and noise. The present invention includes receiving a broadcast signal having mobile service data and main service data multiplexed with each other from at least one parade, demodulating the broadcast signal, acquiring program table information describing at least one service included in at least one ensemble from the demodulated broadcast signal and decoding the mobile service data associated with a first service using a program table information transport unit in the acquired program table information.

a Reed Solomon (RS) frame encoder for performing RS encoding and Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) encoding on IP-based mobile service data and at least one section divided from a signaling information table, the at least one section comprising a section header including an ensemble identifier to identify an ensemble and a section body including access information of the IP-based mobile service data, thereby generating an RS frame belonging to the ensemble; a signaling encoder for encoding fast information channel (FIC) data and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data with a first encoding code, wherein the FIC data includes information for rapid mobile service acquisition, and wherein the TPC data includes FIC version information for indicating an update of the FIC data and RS frame mode information for indicating a single frame mode or a dual frame mode; a block processor for encoding the RS frame with a second encoding code; and a transmitting unit for modulating and transmitting a broadcast signal including the encoded TPC and FIC data, and the encoded RS frame. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)
