1. A non-transitory computer-readable media embodying instructions executable by a computer to perform a method comprising:

  • receiving a request to stream a video recording;

    selecting one of a plurality of user types based on the request, wherein said plurality of user types includes an unrestricted viewing type and at least one restricted viewing type;

    selecting one of a plurality of predefined content filters associated with said video recording based on the selected user type, wherein the content filters associated with a restricted viewing type identify one or more portions of the video recording to be omitted, and the content filter associated with the unrestricted viewing type do not omit any portion of the video recording; and

    streaming the video recording, wherein the streaming video recording is displayed except for any portions of the video recording to be omitted as determined by the selected predefined content filter.
