14. An automotive networking method, comprising:

providing a steering wheel disposed within a vehicle; attaching a plurality of electronic pushbuttons to the steering wheel; providing an electronic controller disposed within the vehicle; wirelessly communicatively coupling the electronic controller to the electronic pushbuttons; manually actuating the pushbuttons according to a code corresponding to a desired functionality of at least one of the pushbuttons; wirelessly transmitting signals from the pushbuttons to the controller, the signals being dependent upon the manual actuation of the pushbuttons; and programming a function of at least one of the pushbuttons based on the transmitted signals. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
