1. A computing device implemented method for data management, the method comprising:

  • identifying a predefined set of service level agreement (SLA) parameters, wherein the predefined set of SLA parameters comprises data availability, and wherein data availability for crucial data or data associated with a premium user is higher than data availability for non-crucial data or data associated with a non-premium user;

    identifying a predefined set of data scrubbing parameters, wherein the predefined set of data scrubbing parameters comprises data scrubbing frequency;

    determining the predefined set of data scrubbing parameters for first data in a first data storage based on the predefined set of SLA parameters for the first data, wherein data scrubbing frequency determined for the first data is higher than data scrubbing frequency determined for other data if data availability for the first data is higher than data availability for the other data; and

    performing data scrubbing for the first data in accordance with the determined predefined set of data scrubbing parameters.
