1. A tire comprising:

  • an innerliner comprising a first rubber material having a first rubber surface;

    a strip material comprising a second rubber material having a second rubber surface, the first or the second rubber material including a rubber selected from the group consisting of homopolymers and copolymers of at least one of isoprene and 1,3-butadiene and copolymers of at least one of isoprene and 1,3-butadiene with styrene, a halogenated isobutylene-based copolymer with from about 2 to about 8 weight percent units derived from isoprene, and mixtures thereof, andsorbitan monostearate; and

    an adhesive that is situated between and in direct contact with the first and the second rubber surfaces of the first and the second rubber materials, the adhesive being vulcanizable at room temperature in the presence of moisture and selected from the group consisting of a urethane adhesive with silane type end groups, a hydroxyl terminated organosiloxane adhesive, and mixtures thereof.
