1. A method, comprising the steps of:
- from one or more sensors at a race event, receiving a first position or time of a first race participant at an intermediate point within the race event and a second position or time of a second race participant at an intermediate point within the race event;
computing in a computer an outcome of a computer-simulated game based, at least in part, on the first position or time and the second position or time, in which the outcome of the game may result from a plurality of possible actions that are legal within the rules of the game;
computing in the computer at least one action of the simulated game that, in a legal play within the rules of the game, results in the outcome; and
displaying to a player of the computer-simulated game the computed game action and the outcome.
