Abstract

A method includes, but is not limited to: obtaining information associated with one or more sequences of two or more conformations of one or more portions of one or more regions of a bendable display containing electronic device and controlling display of one or more portions of the bendable display containing electronic device regarding display of second information in response to the information associated with the one or more sequences of two or more conformations of the one or more portions of the one or more regions of the bendable display containing electronic device. In addition to the foregoing, other related method/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display; and

controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

2. A system comprising:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display; and

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of the one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display composed of two or more display surfaces.

4. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display composed of two or more display layers.

5. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least some electronic paper.

6. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one flexible display.

7. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more sequences of two or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display.

8. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

9. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more folds of one or more portions of at least one display.

10. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more bends of one or more portions of at least one display.

11. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display that result from one or more surface contacts.

12. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for obtaining from one or more sensors information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display.

13. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display comprises:

circuitry for detecting information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one non-linear conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one non-linear conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one non-linear conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display by determining at least one functionality based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting other content for display from at least one other display area.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one inside display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one inside display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one outside display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one outside display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from two or more display layers associated with the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content having one or more specified classifications for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting private content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting public content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

23. A system comprising:

means for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display; and

means for controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.

24. A system comprising:

a signal-bearing medium bearing one or more instructions for facilitating operations comprising;

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one display; and

controlling display of the at least one display based on the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display including identifying at least one conformation using the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one display, determining at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation, and outputting content for display from the at least one display area that is at least partially bounded by at least a portion of the at least one conformation.
