1. A digital low dropout regulator comprising:

  • a switch;

    a resistive element;

    a capacitive element coupled to the resistive element at a node; and

    a switch controller configured tocouple to the node to receive an output voltage, wherein a first circuit receives power based on the output voltage during an active mode of the first circuit, and wherein the first circuit receives power based on the output voltage during a standby mode of the first circuit,compare the output voltage to a reference voltage, andcontrol the switch based on a comparison of the output voltage and the reference voltage,wherein the switch is configured to selectively provide a supply voltage to the node via the resistive element, andwherein the switch controller is configured to (i) receive a control signal, (ii) prevent the output voltage from decreasing to a voltage less than a minimum voltage based on the control signal including transitioning the switch to an ON state to turn ON the digital low dropout regulator for a predetermined period during the standby mode, and (iii) transition the switch to an OFF state subsequent to the predetermined period and during the standby mode.
