1. A method for filling an abnormal void within the body comprising:
- inserting a filling device into a closed sac volume, wherein the filling device comprises a rotatable joint comprising a flexible leader and a space-occupying element comprising a substantially spherical body;
pushing the filling device in the closed sac volume;
substantially filling the closed sac volume with the filling device; and
inserting a vascular prosthesis adjacent to the abnormal void, and wherein inserting the filling device further comprises deploying the filling device between a vascular wall adjacent to the closed sac volume and the vascular prosthesis.

6. A method for filling an abnormal void within the body comprising:
-
inserting a filling device into a closed sac volume, wherein the filling device comprises a first rotatable joint and a rigid length substantially adjacent to the rotatable joint, wherein the first rotatable joint comprises a first coiled configuration, and wherein the coiled configuration comprises a full loop, and wherein the first rotatable joint is integral with the rigid length; pushing the filling device in the closed sac volume; substantially filling the closed sac volume with the filling device; and inserting a vascular prosthesis adjacent to the abnormal void, and wherein inserting the filling device further comprises deploying the filling device between a vascular wall adjacent to the closed sac volume and the vascular prosthesis. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13)
