1. A liquid crystal display device comprising:

  • a first substrate and a second substrate, which are opposed to each other;

    a first electrode and a second electrode, which are over the first substrate;

    a projection and a spacer between the first substrate and the second substrate; and

    a liquid crystal layer between the first electrode and the second substrate,wherein a distance between a first end of the projection and the second substrate is smaller than a distance between the first end of the projection and the first substrate,wherein a distance between a second end of the projection and the first substrate is smaller than a distance between the second end of the projection and the second substrate,wherein the liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal molecule and a compound having a liquid crystal skeleton, andwherein the liquid crystal layer includes a plurality of domain regions.
