Abstract

A method for one or more portions of one or more regions of an electronic paper assembly having one or more display layers includes, but is not limited to: obtaining first information regarding one or more positions of one or more portions of one or more regions of the electronic paper assembly and sending one or more application related information portions to the electronic paper assembly based upon the obtaining of the first information. In addition to the foregoing, other related method/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces; and

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for detecting information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining from one or more embedded sensors information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining strain information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more at least partially overlapping oppositely faced display surfaces.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining position information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations along one or more borders of one or more display regions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations within one or more display regions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electrophoretic-type electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electrofluidic-type electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one liquid crystal-type electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces formed from two or more display layers.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing at least partially overlapped display surfaces.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined shape for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined shape for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined sequence for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined sequence for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined flexure for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined flexure for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation using two or more display layers.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least one display region of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating (i) at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation and (ii) at least one communication unit.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation comprises:

circuitry for processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including

determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation, and

determining whether the at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for at least one other functionality, and, if the at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for at least one other functionality, activating at least one other application.

21. The system of claim 1, wherein the system is at least partially positioned with the at least one electronic paper assembly.

22. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry for receiving information associated with surface contact.

23. A system comprising:

at least one article of manufacture bearing one or more instructions for facilitating operations including

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces; and

processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.

24. A method at least partially implemented using one or more processing components comprising:

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces; and

processing the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces including determining whether at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, and, if at least one conformation of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more opposing display surfaces is associated with at least one predefined conformation for wireless phone functionality, activating at least one wireless phone application to at least output one or more wireless phone control features associated with the at least one wireless phone application for display from at least some of at least one display surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly that is outside relative to the at least one conformation.
