1. In a wireless communication network, a method for transmitting pilots in a sub-frame, the sub-frame including a plurality of symbols, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprising:

  • transmitting a first pilot signal to a base station (BS), wherein the first pilot signal is used for demodulating a signal transmitted by a first symbol and a second symbol of the sub-frame, wherein a first resource transmitting the first pilot signal of the first symbol is different from a second resource transmitting the first pilot signal of the second symbol, andtransmitting a second pilot signal different from the first pilot signal to the BS, wherein the second pilot signal is used for measuring channel quality associated with at least one symbol of the sub-frame, wherein the second pilot signal measuring the channel quality is transmitted in a last symbol of the sub-frame,wherein the first resource includes a first frequency band at which the first pilot signal of the first symbol is transmitted, and the second resource includes a second frequency band at which the first pilot signal of the second symbol is transmitted.
