1. A storage device management system, comprising:

  • a storage device having a unique identifier (UID) which is a number physically inscribed on the flash memory semiconductor chip of the storage device and is not stored in the regular flash memory cells or other one-time-programmable memory, comprising;

    a public area, corresponding to the unique identifier, divided into a plurality of zones, each comprising an interpretation module and a specific UID converted from the unique identifier; and

    an electronic device selecting one of the zones, reading the interpretation module from the selected zone of the storage device, executing the interpretation module to read the UID and convert the UID into the specific UID corresponding to the selected zone according to a specific algorithm corresponding to the selected zone, and managing the storage device locally or remotely based on the specific UID.
