First Claim
1. A computer implemented remittance for services method comprising:
- enabling a seller-distributor computing node on a global computer network to affect transactions that exchange tokens for payment, the tokens configured for remittance at a plurality of service providers for an incremental quantity of use of services provided by a the plurality of service providers as opposed to a monetary value; and
for each token obtained through the seller-distributor computing node, the method including;
(i) enabling each service provider of the plurality to set respective rates of his services, such that different rates exist for a same or equivalent service across the service providers,(ii) enabling a user of the token to select one of the plurality of service providers to request remittance for services, and(iii) affecting variable rate redemption of the token by the user at the selected one of the plurality of service providers upon user request, the token providing remittance for service by the user at the one selected service provider and at the respective rate as set by the selected service provider.

Abstract
Tokens containing a unique identification code that allow admission or access to entertainment or personal services are sold and distributed. A seller-distributor node on a global computer network affects transactions that exchange tokens for payment. The tokens represent remittance for services provided by a plurality of service providers. For each token obtained through the seller-distributor node, the system allows a variable rate of redemption at the plurality of service providers upon use by the token (ticket) holder. The token (ticket) holder/user selects which one of the plurality of service providers to request remittance for services at the respective service provider'"'"'s rates. Different rates exist for a same or equivalent service across at least some of the service providers. Rendering of the token enables remittance for service by the ticket holder/user selected service provider at the selected service provider rate. The token may be in the form of an electronic ticket, a bar code, an email message, an electronic message, a code number or machine readable data/code.
