1. A body fluid sampling system for use on a tissue site, the system comprising:
- a container with at least one channel to launch a penetrating member to the tissue site;
a controllable electronic driver coupled to a processor to provide for controlled velocity of the penetrating member;
a plurality of analysis sites coupled to the container;
a plurality of penetrating members, each of the penetrating member being configured to be coupled to the electronic driver and advanced out of the container to provide for each of an analysis site to receive body fluid, wherein the plurality of penetrating members are integrated with the plurality of analysis sites in the container to carry out a lancing movement towards a body part containing the body fluid;
wherein the electronic driver has a control device to control a sequence of movements of the analysis sites and/or the penetrating member; and
wherein each of an analysis site has a capillary active transport channel for the body fluid.
