1. A modular graft device for treating vasculature, comprising:
- a first graft component configured with at least one receiving element radially extending inward;
a second graft component with a proximal end to be inserted into an orifice of the first graft component comprising a stent having at least one component radially extending outward that engages the at least one receiving element of the first graft component; and
a mechanical joint between the first and second graft components, the mechanical joint having structure such that the bond between the first and second graft components is strengthened as the longitudinal load on the mechanical joint increases.

Abstract
The present invention embodies an endovascular graft having an attachment frame connection mechanism that allows placement of the main body component in vasculature in combination with limb components. Various limb component-to-main body component attachment mechanisms are provided which ensure a reliable bond while facilitating a smaller delivery profile.

13. A modular graft device for treating vasculature, comprising:
-
a first graft component configured with a radially adjustable structure and at least one receiving element radially extending inward; and a second graft component with a proximal end to be inserted into an orifice of the first graft component comprising a stent having at least one component radially extending outward that engages the at least one receiving element of the first graft component, which when placed in contact with the first graft component, causes the radially adjustable structure to accomplish an attachment between the first graft component and the second graft component. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22)
