1. An implantable wireless electrode assembly comprising:

  • a first electrode configured to provide an electrostimulation to a myocardium of a heart;

    an attachment mechanism configured to secure at least a portion of the wireless electrode assembly to the myocardium, the attachment mechanism including a distally extending helical tine, and at least one radially extending deformable tine, the helical tine configured to penetrate through the endocardium and into the myocardium, and the at least one radially extending deformable tine, including a sharp tip, configured to penetrate into the myocardium without penetrating entirely through the myocardium and beyond the epicardial wall opposite the interior heart wall; and

    wherein the at least one radially extending deformable tine includes a retracted substantially linear configuration and a user-actuatable extended curled configuration, and wherein the deformable tine is configured to be in the retracted substantially linear configuration when the helical tine is introduced into the myocardium, and wherein the deformable tine is user-actuatable to radially extend into the myocardium and curl without penetrating entirely through the myocardium and beyond the epicardial wall opposite the interior heart wall after the helical tine has been introduced into the myocardium.
