1. Inhalation therapy device for the provision of an aerosol for use by a patient as part of an inhalation therapy, said device comprising:

  • a housing that defines a nebulisation area,at least one nozzle opening for the entry of a pressurised gas, preferably compressed air, into the nebulisation area,at least one outlet opening for the entry of a liquid to be nebulised, preferably a therapeutically effective liquid, into the nebulisation area,a closing element for closing the nozzle opening, which is arranged in the nebulisation area relative to the nozzle opening such that the closing element can be moved into a position closing the nozzle opening and into a position exposing the nozzle opening.
