1. Method for optimising allocation of resources in a mobile radio communication cellular network, said cellular network comprising at least one base station, called BTS, controlled by a base station controller, called BSC, and a connecting network connecting said BTS(s) with said BSC,wherein setting up, maintaining and terminating communications with a mobile station of said cellular network are implemented by exchanges of signalling messages,wherein said connecting network includes at least one link of a radio type with shared resources between said base station(s) and said base station controller, andwherein the method comprises the following phases:

  • a first analysing phase of a content of all or a portion of said signalling messages, said analysing phase including;

    a step of searching for and detecting in said content of said signalling messages data indicating a traffic activity;

    a step of analysing “

    in band”

    control data that transits in a traffic channel, said step of analysing “

    in band”

    control data allowing to take into account in the allocation of the resources of other data concerning at least one of a type of coding used or a speech activity rate;

    a second phase of allocating or not allocating of resources within said radio link with shared resources according to said data indicating a traffic activity.
