1. A method for decoding a video signal, the method comprising:

  • decoding, by a decoder, a field macroblock pair in a base layer, the field macroblock pair being two vertically adjacent field macroblocks in a MacroBlock Adaptive Frame Field frame (MBAFF frame), the MBAFF frame being a frame including macroblocks adaptively decoded as frame macroblock or field macroblock;

    constructing, by the decoder, a frame macroblock pair from the field macroblock pair;

    separating, by the decoder, the frame macroblock pair into even field components and odd field components;

    interpolating, by the decoder, the even field components and odd field components in a vertical and/or horizontal direction;

    interleaving, by the decoder, the interpolated even field components and odd field components;

    obtaining, by the decoder, a reference image by using the interleaved even field components and odd field components; and

    obtaining, by the decoder, texture prediction information of a current block in an enhanced layer by using the reference image.
