1. A method of harvesting carbon dioxide from a gas mixture, comprising the steps of:

  • dissolving the gas mixture and carbon dioxide in water providing a gas, carbon dioxide, water mixture;

    adding a porous solid media to said gas, carbon dioxide, water mixture forming a slurry of gas, carbon dioxide, water, and porous solid media;

    heating said slurry of gas, carbon dioxide, water, and porous solid media producing steam, wherein after said step of heating said slurry of gas, carbon dioxide, water, and porous solid media producing steam;

    said porous solid media is recycled back to said step of adding a porous solid media to said gas, carbon dioxide, water mixture forming a slurry of gas, carbon dioxide, water, and porous solid media; and

    cooling said steam to produce the carbon dioxide thereby harvesting the carbon dioxide from a gas mixture.
