1. A vehicular charging system charging a vehicle-mounted power storage device, comprising:

  • a charger configured to be supplied with electric power from a power supply outside a vehicle to charge said power storage device;

    a sensor for detecting a state of charge of said power storage device; and

    a charging control device programmed to control said charger, whereinsaid charging control device stops charging of said power storage device from outside said vehicle when a predetermined stop condition is satisfied during charging of said power storage device from outside said vehicle,said charging control device is programmed to calculate a first value based on an amount of electric energy required to charge said power storage device from a present state of charge to an upper limit value of the state of charge of said power storage device, in consideration of charging efficiency of said charger, and is programmed to calculate a second value based on an amount of consumed fuel corresponding to a distance that can be traveled using the electric energy required to charge said power storage device from said present state of charge to said upper limit value of the state of charge of said power storage device, andsaid stop condition includes a condition that said first value becomes larger than said second value.
