1. A method for calibration of a continuous glucose sensor, the method comprising:
- receiving sensor data from a continuous analyte sensor, the sensor data comprising one or more sensor data points;
receiving reference data comprising one or more reference data points from a reference analyte monitor;
forming, by a processor module, a calibration data set comprising the one or more sensor data points and the one or more reference points;
determining in substantially real-time, by a processor module, a degree of association of the calibration data set with a curve, wherein the curve is based at least in part on the calibration data set; and
processing the sensor data responsive to the determined degree of association.
