Abstract

BioMEMS/NEMS appliance biologically monitors an individual, using biosensors to detect cellular components. Data is simulated or analyzed using systems-biology software, which provides diagnostic or therapeutic guidance.

Claims

1. Implantable network bio sensor comprising:

a sensor unit having a positioning chip and a bio sensor platform, wherein the sensor unit senses a biological material using the positioning chip to position the biological material via micro-fluidic multi-channels, such that the sensor unit monitors biological material electrophysiology implantably using the biosensor platform to generate a sensor signal according to multi-functional bio sensing of the biological material;

a controller having a network, a systems biology platform, a data storage, and a wireless communication, wherein the controller accesses wirelessly a data storage coupled to the network via the wireless communication to process the systems biology platform stored in the data storage remotely by simulating a systems biology model of the sensed biological material using the sensor signal to generate a simulation data; and

a therapeutic unit having a therapeutic manufacture, therapeutic reservoir, and a sensor manufacture, wherein the therapeutic unit dispenses in-vivo therapeutic pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical or precursors thereof using a biocatalytic chip that activates the therapeutic manufacture or therapeutic reservoir to dispense the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or precursors thereof automatically according to a therapy instruction conveyed by the systems biology platform when processing a combination of the sensor signal and the simulation data to generate the therapy instruction, whereby the systems biology platform recalculates the therapy instruction to reconfigure the therapeutic unit adaptively in response to supplemental sensing by the sensor manufacture according to newly sensed interaction to the dispensed therapeutic pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or precursor thereof.

2. Implantable network bio sensor of claim 1 wherein:

the sensor unit is reconfigurable adaptively by a simulator using a systems biology model.
