  • storing supply chain data including test data, genealogy data including a component'"'"'s parent and its supplier and a component'"'"'s child and its supplier, repair data, a plurality of factors and a plurality of items, in one or more databases;

    aggregating the stored supply chain data in a plurality of combinations including one or more items and one or more factors, by one or more computers;

    selecting a portion of the plurality of factors from the stored data, and a time range for analysis;

    selecting one or more criteria for analysis;

    extracting a portion of the plurality of combinations according to selected one or more criteria, by the one or more computers;

    analyzing said extracted portion of the plurality of combinations, by the one or more computers to detect a combination of factors and items that results in a test failure, according to said selected factors, said time range, and said extracted portion of the plurality of combinations;

    detecting a root cause for said detected combination of factors and items, by the one or more computers;

    performing correlation analysis between said extracted combinations, by the one or more computers;

    performing trend analysis on said extracted combinations; and

    making recommendation for promising combinations and range of test parameters to maximize a yield for the selected factors, by the one or more computers.
