1. A container for a diagnostic testing system, consisting essentially of:
- a magazine arranged in the container, the magazine having a first surface and a second surface configured at opposite ends thereof, the magazine being configured to house a plurality of test media;
a first positioning device arranged on or near the first surface of the magazine and configured to push the plurality of test media toward the second surface of the magazine; and
a self-contained meter for performing a diagnostic test on a sample applied to one of the plurality of test media, the meter having a closure portion shaped to conform to and press-fit with an opening of the container, and configured to selectively unseal and reseal the opening of the container.
