1. A programmable device including a computer-readablie medium having machine executable instructions stored thereon for performing a method to assist with managing a patient'"'"'s health, the method comprising:

  • detecting at least one previously-defined event, wherein detecting includes determining a correlation coefficient for two or more trended health-related parameters to identify the event if the correlation coefficient reflects a significant correlation between the two or more trended health-related parameters;

    recording the at least one detected event with an associated time when the at least one detected event occurred; and

    triggering at least one action based on detecting the at least one previously-defined event, wherein the at least one action includes displaying the at least one detected event with at least one trended health-related parameter in a single display area.
