1. A method of operating a wireless multimedia content brokerage service, the method comprising:

  • accessing, by a content brokerage server, a content push request generated by a first user, the content push request comprising data identifying a real-time content stream being provided by a content provider to a first device via a communications path which does not include the content brokerage server and being perceived by the first user, the data also identifying at least one push recipient, wherein the at least one push recipient is different from the first user; and

    in response to the content push request;

    determining the content provider of the real-time content stream;

    obtaining, by the content brokerage server, the real-time content stream identified in the content push request from the content provider; and

    transmitting, by the content brokerage server, the real-time content stream to a second device associated with the at least one push recipient while the real-time content stream is being provided to the first device.
