1. A system operative to acquire analysis metrics involving transaction times at a facility operable to accomplish financial transactions responsive at least in part to data read from data bearing records, comprising:

  • a banking facility, wherein the banking facility includes;

    an automated banking machine,wherein the machine is operative to carry out financial transactions,wherein the machine includes a cash dispenser,wherein the machine includes at least one reader device,wherein the at least one reader device is operative to read from at least one data bearing record, user data usable to identify a financial account of a machine user,

    wherein the at least one reader device includes a card reader,wherein responsive at least in part to user data read by the at least one reader device substantially corresponding to authorized user information in at least one data store, the machine is operative to carry out a financial transaction that involves causing the cash dispenser to dispense cash to the machine user,

    wherein the machine is operative to cause a financial account of the machine user to be assessed an amount corresponding to cash dispensed,at least one drive-through lane,at least one transaction apparatus usable to exchange items with persons in vehicles that are located in the at least one drive-through lane at a position adjacent the at least one transaction apparatus,at least one vehicle sensor associated with the at least one drive-through lane,wherein the at least one vehicle sensor includes at least one magnetic field sensor,wherein the at least one vehicle sensor is operative to generate at least one output signal indicative of sensed magnetic field intensity,a controller,wherein the controller is operatively connected to the at least one vehicle sensor;

    wherein the at least one vehicle sensor is operative to send the at least one output signal to the controller,wherein the controller is operative to process the at least one output signal,wherein the controller is operative,

    responsive to an absolute value of an output signal substantially corresponding to a predetermined magnetic field entry amount associated with entry of a front end of a first vehicle in a first drive-through lane at a position adjacent a first transaction apparatus,to generate a vehicle present signal that is indicative of the presence of the first vehicle at the position adjacent the first transaction apparatus,wherein the controller is operative to deactivate the vehicle present signal when the absolute value of a subsequent output signal associated with a position adjacent the first transaction apparatus, decreases from the predetermined magnetic field entry amount to a predetermined magnetic field exit amount,wherein prior to a rear end of the first vehicle being sensed at a position adjacent the first transaction apparatus by the at least one vehicle sensor, the predetermined magnetic field exit amount is a first predetermined magnetic field amount,

    wherein the first predetermined magnetic field amount is greater than an ambient magnetic field amount at the position adjacent the first transaction apparatus when no vehicle is present at the position adjacent the first transaction apparatus,wherein subsequent to the rear end of the first vehicle being sensed at a position adjacent the first transaction apparatus by the at least one vehicle sensor, the predetermined magnetic field exit amount is a second predetermined magnetic field amount,

    wherein the second predetermined magnetic field amount is greater than the first predetermined magnetic field amount.
