1. A method of individual monitoring, comprising:

  • a) obtaining a microprocessor controlled security tag comprising a connecting band electrically coupled to said security tag, a receiver, and a transmitter;

    b) obtaining a quadrature antenna in communication with said receiver and said transmitter of said security tag;

    c) sending a signal from said antenna to said receiver of said security tag;

    d) if security tag is physically located within a selected range of distance relative to said antenna, returning a signal from said security tag transmitter to said antenna;

    e) inductively interfacing said security tag with a tag activator/deactivator;

    f) checking power levels of said security tag via said inductive interface; and

    g) activating/deactivating said security tag via said inductive interface.
