1. A non-transitory, tangible computer-readable storage medium storing computer code that, when executed by a computer-based system for managing a prepaid transaction account, causes the computer-based system to perform operations comprising:

  • determining, by the computer-based system, an association between customer information and the prepaid transaction account;

    in response to the customer information being associated with the prepaid transaction accountcapturing, by the computer-based system, customer information to form captured customer information; and

    validating, by the computer-based system, the captured customer information;

    in response to the customer information not being associated with the prepaid transaction account;

    validating, by the computer-based system, the customer information;

    terminating, by the computer-based system, an activation process, in response to the customer information associated with a stored list of flagged information; and

    activating, by the computer-based system, the prepaid transaction account in response to the validating, and in response to the customer information not being associated with the stored list of flagged information.
