1. A computer-readable storage medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause a processor to perform a method comprising:

  • receiving data indicative of a training objective of a student;

    integrating information in a presentation based on the training objective;

    managing information flow utilizing a table of components to provide a simulation during the presentation, the table of components comprising;

    a domain component modeling a state of the simulation, the domain component further facilitating communication of context data across other components of the table of components;

    a profiling component providing a rule-based evaluation of the state of the simulation, the profiling component further analyzing a student pre-test to determine a learning need of the student;

    a transformation component manipulating the state of the simulation, the transformation component is further a shell to a data modeling component and the transformation component facilitating transfer of data from a domain to the data modeling component to perform a calculation on the data and the transformation component facilitating transfer of a result from the data modeling component to the domain for further analysis by the profiling component, the data modeling component comprises spreadsheet-based modeling; and

    a remediation component delivering feedback to the student, the feedback is based on profiling information from the profiling component.
