A method for the treatment of a disease selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, kidney cancer and Cowden syndrome, the method comprising administering a compound 2-Methyl-2-[4-(3-methyl-2-oxo-8-quinolin-3-yl-2,3-dihydro-imidazo[4,5-c]quinolin-1-yl)-phenyl]-propionitrile or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a quantity effective against said disease, to a warm-blooded animal requiring such treatment.

Abstract
The invention relates to methods of treatment of a proliferative disease which responds to inhibition of PI3-Kinase-related protein kinases, particularly the PI3-kinase, by administration of a novel organic compound of formula (I)
to a human or animal requiring such treatment; and methods of treatment of inflammatory or obstructive airway disease, such as asthma, disorders commonly occurring in connection with transplantation, or a proliferative disease, such as a tumor disease, by administration of such compound.
