1. An integrated chemical separation device, comprising:

  • a single device body;

    a chemical separation unit mounted to the single device body and configured to separate a chemical from a fluid or an aerosol;

    a Raman sensor substrate mounted to the single device body and comprising an outer surface that is configured to receive the chemical from the chemical separation unit, wherein the Raman sensor substrate comprises a plurality of nano rods, nano holes, or nano particles formed or disposed on the outer surface, wherein surfaces of the nano rods, nano holes, or nano particles comprise a metallic material configured to adsorb molecules of the chemical from the fluid or the aerosol; and

    a Raman scattering spectrometer unit mounted to the single device body and configured to emit a laser beam to illuminate the molecules adsorbed on the surfaces of the plurality of nano rods, nano holes, or nano particles in the Raman sensor substrate and to detect the chemical from the light scattered from the molecules adsorbed on the surfaces of the plurality of nano rods, nano holes, or the nano particles in the Raman sensor substrate.
