1. A system for the streamlined purchase of audio files comprising:

  • a digital audio system comprising;

    a wireless transceiver;

    a control system for said wireless transceiver adapted to capture from a digital source a first signal representing a first digital audio information, said control system having a user interface including a user display, a capture input and a purchase input;

    wherein said control system is further adapted to selectively control in response to user input a plurality of control operations including at least one of;

    (i) selective reception of at least one of a first audio signal and media information simultaneous with selective retransmission of at least one of the first audio signal and the media information; and

    (ii) selective reception of at least one of a first audio signal and media information simultaneous with selective transmission of at least one of a second audio signal and the media information, the second audio signal comprising different information content than the first audio signal;

    storage adapted to store said first digital audio information when a user instantiates said capture input;

    a communications module for transferring, when a user instantiates said purchase input, said first digital audio information to a remote network comprising a digital repository, whereby said communication module is adapted to request a purchase over said digital network, whereby said network accesses said digital repository, and whereby said communication module is adapted to receive a first audio file and said media information associated with said first digital audio information,wherein said first digital audio information comprises a first unique identifier associated with at least one of a first audio signal and media information,wherein said digital audio system further comprises a second unique identifier for enabling a user to identify a device from or to which said device is sharing said first audio signal and media information and said second audio signal and media information, andwherein said first digital audio information comprises a second dataset, and at least some of said second dataset is manually input by a user of said digital audio system, wherein an encoding rate of the audio is manually input by a user.
