First Claim
1. An integrated traffic control and individual vehicle data collection and analysis system comprising:
- a traffic control computer residing in a roadside traffic control system enclosure;
an individual vehicle data collection and analysis application operating on the traffic control computer; and
a sensor positioned above a road,wherein the traffic control computer is configured to collect a first set of individual vehicle data at a first time, collect a second set of individual vehicle data at a different time, and analyze a combination of the first set and the second set in order to identify differences and similarities between the two sets and determine whether a number of traffic violations has changed over time.
