1. A system server for exchanging location-based information between devices of a communication group of wireless communication devices, the system server system comprising:
- at least one processor;
a data store, and;
at least one memory communicatively coupled to said at least one processor, the memory having stored therein computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause the server to perform operations comprising;
receiving a group communication over a half-duplex communication channel from a first wireless communication device of said communication group;
storing the received group communication in association with a geographic location; and
selectively transmitting the group communication to a second wireless communication device of said communication group and automatically notifying a user of the second wireless communication device based on a trigger, the trigger including proximity of the second wireless device to said geographic location and at least one of a time of day, a date, weather conditions, traffic conditions and proximity to other locations.

Abstract
A system, method, and wireless communication device that provide a mobile user with selective access to information based on a predefined trigger such as a user'"'"'s vicinity. In an embodiment, selected information from a first wireless communication device of a communication group may be associated with a geographic location and stored. A portion of the information may be selectively transmitted to a second wireless communication device of the communication group when the second wireless communication device is determined to be proximate to the geographic location associated with the information. In one embodiment, the second wireless communication device may receive the information automatically based on trigger settings.
