1. A system for at least one of identifying and authenticating a source of received electronic data, said system comprising:

  • an electronic device configured for receiving a first signal from a source and configured for transmitting a second signal, wherein the source is configured to transmit at least one of audio and ultrasonic signals; and

    a remote server configured for receiving the second signal from said electronic device and configured for transmitting a third signal to said electronic device;

    said remote server configured for generating an indication of at least one of the identification of the source of the received first signal and the authenticity of the source of the received first signal;

    wherein said generating an indication includes analyzing at said remote server the second signal received from said electronic device, said analyzing including at least one of digital signal processing, voice recognition, and voice verification.
